Good food at a good price. Service is fast and waitress was courteous. Loved the log house feel of the place.

Always love this place. Great steaks! Inclusion of soup and salad bar is a nice perk. Good for families and groups or a small sit-down dinner. We make it a point to stop here every time we make the trip to Seeley Lake

Fun little gem of a restaurant if you are passing through. Beautiful and rustic inside and out. We had delicious breakfast sandwiches on the patio surrounded by trees.

Do you like the smell of burning fire wood and old wood buildings? This place is it ! A fun small little restaurant in the woods with good food; and yes they have liquor.

Warm friendly dining with pleasant views of forest and pasture land. Featured fun variations on home cooking, plus old standbys. In summary, a very enjoyable and relaxing experience among many friendly repeat customers.

Stopped in as I was traveling through. Owner and his employee were very friendly. Ordered a Ribeye Steak and the sweet Lady cooking did a great job. Perfect dinner and a couple cold beers. I was missing this and am very appreciative they were a quality restaurant. If owner is reading this you should be proud of your place, it’s top notch.

Excellent food (you get what you pay for!), and a really good salad bar.The waitresses were constantly asking if everything was okay, something that's really appreciated.The stuffed animals add a good touch to the atmosphere.

Sitting here in Georgia, watching cooking shows on TV and just started craving me some Hungry Bear pizza, long thick stringy shoe laces of cheese stretching out and snapping back all over my face! This is the pizza standard I hold every other slice of pizza to. Nobody has matched it in 30 years of me eating pizza🇺🇸🍻👍

Anson off the beaten path place. U can eat outdoors and they have really good frozen huckleberry lemonade. The food was also delicious.

Best omelette ever! All part s of our breakfast excellent! Service by Jenny excellent! Decor appealing rustic, large, lots of windows with views of nature, including deer in the back yard. A restaurant since the 1970's, we definitely plan to get by there again while in Montana. Highly recommend!

I've been eating here for decades. The food has always been fresh and delicious, especially the salad bar. They are one of the few places that will give you your steak just how you like it. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. Recommended to all.

Good food and a very pretty waitress

Came in here when they open, they were not ready to be open.... Our server was a young boy who was quite rude when we came in, but my gf and I were really hungry. So they told us they can only do burgers only which is unacceptable. We still ate it and it was decent. Dont open if your not really to be open.

The food was deliciously prepared a d very unique. I love that true mountain feeling.

On the recommendation of a ranger stationed up the road, I stopped here for lunch during a June bicycle tour. Had the fish basket with fries. The ranger was right; this place does do a good lunch. Food was tasty, portions were ample and the service was courteous. Can only imagine how good their steaks are. And as others have noted, the décor in nice. I especially liked the swivel chair at my table. You can tell the owners invest in the place.

Average at best. Salad bar, fresh. Soup delicious. Good value. Steaks OVERCOOKED around the entire table of 8. Fairly pricey for steak entrees, you would think the place would want the cook knowing how to make properly. Would only come back if no other options near. Clean place, outdated.

Slow service. Only one wait person. Good food.
